FAQ

  • What can I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit is designed to understand you.

We begin with a thorough conversation about your history, lifestyle, goals, followed by an assessment of how your body is functioning.

From there, care is tailored specifically for you and for what your body needs at the moment.

  • Should I get adjusted if nothing feels wrong?

Many people choose care not because something is wrong, but because they want to function at a higher level.

The nervous system influences how your body moves, adapts, and responds to stress and old traumas. Even without pain, imbalances can exist and impact performance, energy, and resilience.

Care in this context is not about fixing a problem.

It’s about maintaining and optimizing function, so your body can do what it does best: adapt, heal and support you.

  • Why would my child need to see a chiropractor?

Children experience  physical and neurological stress from an early age, through growth, falls, posture, and daily demands.

When the nervous system is not fully balanced, it can influence sleep, behaviors, focus, and overall regulation.

Care for children is gentle, specific, and adapted to their needs in the moment. The goal is to support their ability to grow, adapt, and function with greater ease.

  • Is it safe to be adjusted while pregnant?

Yes. Chiropractic care during pregnancy is both safe and beneficial, for mom and the baby.

As the body adapts to support pregnancy, changes in posture and load can create tension and discomfort. Adjustments help maintain balance, support mobility and overall comfort. Supporting the mother supports the environment in which the baby develops.

  • Do you take insurance?

We operate outside of the insurance model to provide a higher standard of care.

This allows us to focus on what you need, not on limitations set by a third-party system. Care is personalized, not didacted.

Payment is made at the time of service, and we are happy to provide documents for reimbursement if applicable.
